Full-time faculty members, provided they meet the criteria outlined in the McMaster University Revised Policy and Regulations with Respect to Academic Appointment, Tenure and Promotion (2012), may be promoted to a higher rank (e.g. Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, Associate Professor to Professor).
