His interest in inter-professional practice and education lead to the development of regular inter-professional education (IPE) rounds at McMaster Family Practice, a program that began in 2007 and continues to have success.
Research interests have taken off for Dr. Oliver in the areas of office practice re-design, searching for ways to continue to provide better access to medical visits for patients in primary care. Innovative approaches have included a transition to open access appointment booking and early work in the area of group medical visits.
