This is your opportunity to become the McMaster Family Medicine Research Chair.
As an internationally respected scholar, you are successfully addressing the challenges that face today’s family physicians and primary care providers. You bring expertise and passion for patient care and interprofessional health care teams.
The successful applicant will join an internationally recognized organization in primary care education and research. The Department trains 200 residents annually and with a dozen PhDs and over 40 research staff, leads diverse research programs in healthy aging, polypharmacy, community paramedicine, eHealth, child health, and primary care policy.
The Chair will further their established research program while engaging and extending the Department’s core strengths. They will also have the opportunity to teach medical students, family medicine residents and contribute to the administration of the Department.
The Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invites nominations and applications from family physicians, researchers and other regulated health professionals. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
