ClerkshipDSC_8777The core clerkship experience in family medicine is a six-week experience where learners are placed with a primary preceptor in community practices throughout the southern Ontario region.

Through direct clinical care and close connections with their preceptors and their patients, learners develop core competencies related to primary care medicine.

The clinical curriculum is augmented by small group, learner driven, problem based learning sessions as well as half day experiences in Care of the Elderly, Early Years, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Global Health and Palliative Care.
