Elizabeth Shaw BSc, MD, CCFP, CFPC, FCFP
Dr. Elizabeth Shaw is Professor of Family Medicine, current Department Education Coordinator, and past Postgraduate Program Director (2003-2009).
She has a general family practice at the McMaster Family Practice unit, with a particular interest in women’s health. Dr. Shaw also has a specific interest in addiction and provides addiction and methadone care to the general population of Hamilton as well as prenatal care and methadone to women through the Maternity Centre of Hamilton.
Dr. Shaw is also the Director of Module Development for the Foundation for Medical Practice Education and assists with the editing and production of 14 educational modules annually for residents and practicing family physicians to use in small group learning sessions.
