Are you looking for an Observership?

If you are an IMG who is looking to complete an oberservership please complete the Observership Registration Form and submit it directly to SISO.

If you are a current Family Physician with a practice in Ontario, who would like to take an IMG for an obervership, please take a moment and fill out the Practicing Physician Observership Registration Form.

Exam Preparation

The Bridge for International Medical Doctors is a study group working under the umbrella organization of the Immigrant Women's Centre, located at 182 Rebecca Street, downtown Hamilton.  The group meets on Wednesday evenings from 5.30 till 8.00 pm.  We have systems-based scenarios that are specially written and trained Standardized Patients.  All IMDs are welcome whether they are taking MCCEE, MCCQE1, MCCQE2, CE1 or other provincial exams.  We provide a warm supportive environment.  Interested parties may phone 905 577 4657 or email sara@pipaa.ca.

Information for IMGs relating to application into the McMaster University Family Medicine program.

To enter into Postgraduate Medical Education at McMaster it is recommended that you have your training assessed by the Centre for Evaluation of Health Professionals Educated Abroad (CEHPEA).  CEHPEA offers assessments for direct entry to training for Family Medicine and specialties.  CEHPEA also offers written and clinical assessment for candidates applying for PGY2 or Practice Ready Assessment (PRA) training.  For further information, contact CEHPEA directly:
