Electives
The elective program has two components:
- Horizontal electives of one-half day per week during full-time Family Medicine rotations. Horizontal electives are chosen by the resident and may be either academic or clinical.
- Block (full-time) electives for two months in the second year. A great deal of flexibility is allowed permitting residents to direct their educational experience to their future practice needs.
