• Academic Forum
  This informal series is to provide a forum for presentations and discussion of research and related academic scholarship relevant to family practice. Usually held the first Tuesday or Thursday of every month. For more information, please contact Anita Di Loreto.
  

• Trillium
  The Trillium Primary Care Research Forum is a collaborative effort among the three south-west Ontario Family Medicine programs, The University of Western Ontario, the University of Toronto and McMaster University. Usually held at McMaster University, once every three years. For more information, please contact Anita Di Loreto.
  

• Peer Writing Group
  The Family Medicine Peer Writing Group is inspired by similar initiatives across Canada and was formed in 2003. The group supports the process of writing grant proposals and manuscripts through peer review and feedback. For more information, please contact Michelle Howard.
  

• Leading Innovations in Health Care and Delivery
  A presentation on the importance of innovation in the medical curriculum, as it translates to health care and delivery. Harvard Macy Institute, June 2008.
  

• Scholarly Activities Group
  A newly formed group that gathers monthly to discuss scholarly activities within the Department of Family Medicine.
