Knowledge Transfer Template for Primary Care Research
The Knowledge Transfer Template for Primary Care is one of the tools developed through a study funded by the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation (CHSRF) on Improving communication between primary care researchers and decision-makers. The project involved focus groups and interviews with regional and local policy- and decision-makers and media personnel to determine their information needs and ways to foster an information partnership with researchers in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster. Several initiatives are underway to improve our capacity in knowledge transfer.
The Knowledge Transfer Template is intended to support awareness and action steps to increase communication with Stakeholders during all stages of the research process.
