Title: Principled Community Engaged Research at McMaster
In this session, participants will learn about McMaster’s Principles of Community Engagement, illustrated with McMaster-based research examples. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore how the principles are (or could be) put into practice in their own research.

Presenter: C.A. Klassen, Community Engaged Research Facilitator in the Office of Community Engagement. C.A. is a white, non-binary, queer settler, born and raised on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas, land covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant.

Using health administrative data for primary care research: Attendees will develop an understanding of ICES health administrative data holdings in Ontario, the types of primary care research questions that can be addressed using the data, and how researchers can work with ICES.
