Community Based Residency Training
McMaster has provided community training for over 20 years. This virtual unit offers an alternative training model to the traditional academic teaching units and provides our residents with the opportunity to train in a "typical" community practice.

All of our teaching sites have internet access and videotaping capability similar to the larger teaching units with most of these practices having electronic medical records.
Our current community-based practices are in Hamilton, Burlington, Waterdown, Carlisle, Hagersville, Port Colborne, Brantford, Guelph and Simcoe.
