Ohood Elzibak completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program. She then enrolled in McMaster's inaugural Physician Assistant (PA) class, graduating in 2010 and obtaining her CCPA (Canadian Certified Physician Assistant) designation. Ohood has been employed in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2010, specializing in sports orthopaedics and peri-arthroscopy care, with interest and competency in medical-legal assessment of MSK injuries. In 2011, she went on to complete her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Ohood currently holds an appointment at McMaster University as an Assistant Clinical Professor (adjunct) and is involved in MSK clinical teaching as well as preceptorship in Orthopaedic Surgery. She has been an advisor in the PA program since 2012 and sits on the Student Affairs Committee as the Advisor Representative. Recently, Ohood expanded her clinical role to the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is exploring her research interests in the area of Physician Assistant involvement in Health Promotion and Preventative Care.
